This model kit recreates the iconic WWII German BF109 G-6 Late Model variant. The kit is a variation of Item 61117 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109 G-6 which recreates the early production model. Inheriting the faithfully recreated form based upon extensive research and open or closed engine cowlings (interchangeable even after assembly) from Item 61117, this kit authentically features new parts to recreate characteristics such as the engine cowlings used for the Bf109 G-6 late model, an Erla Haube canopy, and 21cm rocket launchers under its wing.

About the actual plane
With over 30,000 produced, the Messerschmitt Bf109 is the most prolifically manufactured fighter in history; of its variants, the G-6 was the most made at 13,000 planes. The Bf109 G-6 - which was produced from summer in 1943 – had the distinctive engine cowlings featuring a small bulge and air scoop under right nose bulge (known in German as “Beule”) and machine gun ballistic smaller groove panels on upper nose. At the end of 1943, the BF109 G-6 employed canopy called Erla Haube featuring reduced frames for improved visibility.
These specifications were seen on many Bf109 G-6 late models. From August in 1943, 21cm rocket launchers were equipped at both sides of the wing, as the Bf109 G-6 countered the four-engine heavy bomber formation coming from UK. The Bf109 G-6 was deployed on both the Western and Eastern fronts, in particular dominating Soviet adversaries as it continued in service through to the end of WWII.

• 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit. Fuselage length: 188mm, wingspan: 207mm.
• The distinctive fuselage of the Bf109 G-6 is faithfully captured in style based on extensive research of the actual aircraft.
• The engine cowlings of the Bf109 G-6 late model are newly molded to recreate a small bulge and air scoop under right nose bulge (known in German as “Beule”) and machine gun ballistic smaller groove panels on upper nose. Engine cowlings can be assembled open or closed and interchanged as you like.
• The Erla Haube canopy is also recreated by new transparent parts. Assemble with open or closed canopy.
• New parts are also included to recreate the following features of the aircraft which Hermann Graf flew.

Rearview mirror and bulging to cover the mirror on the canopy center section.
Main landing gear bay doors and inside with cloth covers removed.
21cm rocket launchers and their pillars equipped at both sides of the wing.

• Comes with decals to depict 4 marking options (planned) including that of Hermann Graf, and color painting guide.
• The model can be assembled in one of the following three ways; early model, late model and mix model of early and late characteristics (smaller groove panels on upper nose without a small bulge under right nose bulge).

Wem die Dromadare fremd sind, hier ist etwas Info zu den Flugzeugen:

Die PZL M18 Dromader ist ein polnisches Agrar- und Feuerlöschflugzeug, das in den 1970er Jahren von PZL-Mielec in Zusammenarbeit mit Rockwell International entwickelt wurde. Das markante Design mit dem hohen Cockpit dient der optimalen Sicht des Piloten bei Tiefflügen über Feldern oder in Brandgebieten.

- Antrieb: Ein ASz-62IR Sternmotor (eine Weiterentwicklung des Wright Cyclone), der für seine Robustheit bekannt ist.
- Kapazität: Der große Rumpfbehälter kann je nach Version bis zu 2.500 Liter Chemikalien oder Wasser fassen.
- Einsatz: Die M18B ist die modernisierte Variante mit erhöhter Nutzlast. Die gezeigte 2-Sitzer-Version (48002) wird oft für Schulungszwecke oder spezielle Sprüheinsätze genutzt, während die griechische Version (48004) primär als wendiger "Firefighter" zur Waldbrandbekämpfung auf den trockenen Inseln dient.

こんにちは、今回は、ホビーボスのBF109の1/48です。
比較的安価な割には、モールド等素晴らしいです。
デカールがちょっともろいんで気を付けないといけません。
カラー見本では、エーリッヒハルトマンとゲルハルドバルクホルンの二種類があります。
バーツの合いもいいです。いじった個所は、燃料排気管を真鍮線。エンジンカーバーのディテール補強。タイヤ削りくらいです。
あと、メタルリギングで、張り線も追加しました。
こまかい個所はシタデルとファレホの筆塗りです。
モットランド迷彩は0.2㎜のエアブラシ。あんまりうまくいきませんでした。
もっとぼかしてもよかったと思いますし、逆にホワイトで下地を迷彩化してもよかったかもしれません。
模様に関しては、資料を集めて下準備が必要だと思います。
まあ、そもそも細吹きがちゃんとできてない時点でダメですが。
いい勉強にはなりました。

Today we are taking a look at the 1/48 Hobby Boss TBD-1 Devastator. Another great kit from Hobby Boss some fine detail but maybe a little tricky to get rid of the seem lines around the wings where the corrugated panels are.

The Devastator performed well early in the war, most notably in the Battle of the Coral Sea, but earned infamy for a catastrophic performance during the Battle of Midway in which 41 Devastators recorded zero torpedo hits with only six surviving to return to their carriers. Although much of the Devastator's dismal performance was later attributed to the many well-documented defects in the US Mark 13 torpedo, the aircraft was withdrawn from frontline service after Midway.

V dnešním videu vám ukáži stavbu letounu MiG-21 verze F-13 v měřítku 1/48 od firmy Eduard v barvách Československého letectva. Firma Eduard má ve své nabídce spoustu pozdních (late) verzí MiG-21 již od roku 2011. V roce 2025 však vydala rannou (early) verzi F, která je pro mě nejatraktivnější. Nejen že se jedná o první generaci MiG-21, která byla sériově vyráběná, ale také proto, že verze F-13 se licenčně vyráběla v Československu v letecké firmě Aero Vodochody v Odolené Vodě. Ranná MiG-21F je velmi odlišná od pozdních verzích a také nová stavebnice nemá nic společného se dříve vydanými stavebnicemi firmy Eduard. Jedná se o zcela nový kit a je zde vidět velký kvalitativní posun.
A když už stavím letoun vyrobený v Československu v kamufláži Československého letectva, bylo by dobré při stavbě použít i produkty Českých a Slovenských modelářských firem. České výrobce tu zastupuje samozřejmě firma Eduard se stavebnicí a také firma Omask s maskami. Ze Slovenské republiky je tu firma Mr.Paint, která kromě kvalitních laquerových a akrylových barev má ve své nabídce i tmely, lepidla a spoustu užitečných nástrojů.

Hello, and welcome back to the channel! In todays video I'll be tackling Miniart's P-47 Advanced! This kit was absolutely incredible, and the finished result is by far one of my favorite models I've ever built. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did building it!

The wheel chocks seen in the video were molded by myself using polymer clay, they were simple rectangles that were cut to shape with an X-Acto knife, the rope is just stretched sprue!

In this video, I build the Academy 1:48 Rafale M model kit.
After the base painting, I applied oil weathering to enhance panel lines and shading.
The kit has good details and decent fit, so I recommend it if you like the Rafale.

In this video I build the impressive AMK MiG-31 Foxhound in 1/48 scale. From cockpit work and canopy masking to painting, weathering, and final assembly, I walk through the full process step by step.

Even in 1/48 scale, the MiG-31 is an incredibly large and imposing aircraft. The AMK kit features excellent detail and clever engineering, which made the build process smooth and enjoyable despite the many hours spent on masking and painting.

In the video you’ll see techniques such as hand-cut canopy masks, layered airbrush painting, subtle weathering, washes, and a few small modifications like removable missiles and detailed cockpit work.

It was a long but very rewarding project, and I hope some of the techniques shown here will be useful for your own builds.

Newly Discovered Colour Film (1939): Luftwaffe Fighter Wing JG 77 & Bf 109 Operations

This film contains several handwritten intertitles that are difficult to read today. If you can decipher any of the text in German, please post your interpretation in the comments and include the timestamp of the scene. Your help will allow us to better understand and document this historical footage.

This rare color film shows a day at a German Luftwaffe airfield in 1939 with the 2nd Staffel of Jagdgeschwader 77 (JG 77), known as the “Green Heart” (Grünherz).
The footage documents everyday routines at a fighter unit at the beginning of the Second World War. The film shows aircraft preparation, maintenance work by ground crews, refueling procedures using a mobile fuel truck, and the issuing of orders by the commanding officer Johannes Trautloft.
Several Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighters can be seen on the grass airfield while mechanics service the aircraft and prepare them for flight. Toward the end of the film, the footage shows an alarm exercise as multiple fighters scramble and take off.

This film contains original footage from the early period of the Second World War. Historical military symbols and uniforms of the time may appear. The material is presented for documentary and historical purposes.
