Opel Blitz Tankwagen Kfz.385 - Italeri 2808 - 1/48 - Kit review

A review of Italeri's, 1/48th scale, Kfz.385 Opel Blitz Tankwagen, (part of Italeri's 'Battle of Britain' anniversary series), model kit, released in 2020, under Kit No. 2808, initially released in 2010, under the same kit number. Also available from Italeri, in 1/35 scale, under Kit No. 6467, released in 2012.

This nicely detailed kit, features, optional open/closed rear doors, to display the tankwagen's pumping controls, pre-cut acetate windows, plastic tyres, a 'Back of Box' painting guide, and markings for 4 vehicles (France 1940, Eastern Front x 2, Western Europe x 1), plus, 'Bonus Decals', which are suitable for use with Ju 87 'Stuka's' squadrons, operating during the Battle of Britian.
