De Havilland Tiger Moth - Airfix A04104 - 1/48 - Full Build

In this video I build the classic Airfix 1/48 scale de Havilland DH-82 Tiger Moth, finished in the markings of the Indian Air Force Heritage Flight – aircraft HU-512.

This particular aircraft has a rich history. Originally built in 1933, HU-512 served as a trainer with the IAF and was later restored to flight in 1982 as part of India’s Vintage Aircraft Flight. After an extensive restoration in the UK in 2012, it continues to represent the golden era of Indian aviation.

The Airfix kit was a very enjoyable build with good overall fit and detail. I chose to finish it in the bright Heritage Flight scheme using custom decals for the serial numbers and IAF roundels.
