Marking a legend, this is a detailed full scale modelling build of the iconic English Electric Lightning F.6 in 1/48 scale, using the Airfix kit.

In this scale modeling deep dive, we tackle the famous “Vertical Twin” interceptor in her classic Airfix boxing. This project becomes a battle between 1997-era tooling and a full suite of modern 3D resin upgrades, featuring the rare “painted nose” camouflage of XS935 during her deployment to Malta.
